The main raw materials of the products grow in sub-subcontinent semi-arid areas of India and Pakistan, belonging to annual herbaceous plants.

JK Guar Gum for Building Materials

JK7 series of products, JK701, JK702, JK703 are modified guar gum through etherification reaction, with thickening characteristics. Guar shows a pseudoplastic rheological behaviour; At low shear rate values,guar and cellulose are very close to each other, while, at high shear rate values, the differences become bigger.Under high stresses the viscosity of a solution of guar decreases. This lower viscosity gives the wet mortar/paints a good workability and smooth finish.Thus, guar improves the adhesion and the stability of the wet system, without negatively influencing neither its consistency nor its water retention and showing an excellent workability and a perfect finish.

Hydroxyethyl Thickener

Jingkun’s HEC28000 and HEC32000 is an economic hydroxyethyl thickener used in water-based wall paint. The addition of a small amount of natural polysaccharides in hydroxyethyl cellulose can modify the construction performance of the coating because of the good shear thinning performance of the natural polysaccharides.
